To unite Physical Therapists in private practice throughout the State of New York, for the purpose of maintaining a compact, representative and centralized agency to consider, agree and act upon all matters affecting the practice of Physical Therapy; to elevate the standard of integrity, honor and courtesy in the practice of Physical Therapy and to cherish the spirit of brotherhood among the members of the profession; to promote and advance the science of Physical Therapy; to stimulate interest in the dissemination and exchange of knowledge pertaining to Physical Therapy;
